CLINICIAN PRESENTATION
A presentation by Princeton’s Dr. Andrew Ashley based on the talk he gave at the workshop. In this six-part mini-series, he walks through how alcohol impacts the brain, treatment options, a walk-through of a sample patient journey, as well as ideas about how to talk about alcohol use with others. Check it out here on our Videos page.
With gratitude
We are grateful for our workshop co-hosts: The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen and the Princeton Community Health Table.
Many thanks to community organizations that donated to help host this community conversation: Valley First Credit Union, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #56, and the Princeton Hospital Auxiliary.
And, of course, we couldn’t do this work without the insight and expertise from our presenters from Interior Health, the physician community and our facilitators from the University of Alberta and Algonquin College.
We especially and gratefully acknowledge that this workshop took place on the beautiful lands and territory of the Snm'a?m'aya?tn people.
